Youth Program

Building a Generation that is Independent and Capable of Change

At Man Ahyaha, we believe that youth are the driving force of society and the agents of change. From this belief, we launched the Adolescents Program, targeting young people aged 13 to 17. The program provides a safe and supportive space that helps adolescents discover and develop their potential through practical and interactive training that combines life, technical, vocational, and artistic skills, while addressing their psychological and social needs.

Program Objectives

  • Develop life and leadership skills among adolescents

  • Enhance employment opportunities and community entrepreneurship

  • Promote health and psychological awareness during adolescence

  • Enable participants to implement community projects and initiatives

  • Build capacity in communication, artistic expression, and the use of technology

 

Program Tracks

Phase 1 – Life Skills and Self-Awareness

  • Interactive workshops in: health, digital safety, peaceful coexistence, presentation skills, and event management

Phases 2 & 3 – Career Readiness

  • Intensive workshops in: project planning and management, CV writing, job search skills, interview techniques, and creating professional LinkedIn profiles

Phase 4 – Elective Tracks

  • Programming: designing websites for their projects

  • Graphic Design: using tools such as Canva and Photoshop

  • Digital Marketing: developing marketing plans, designing logos, banners, and brochures

Artistic and Community Activities

  • Theatrical productions, Tahtib performances, product exhibitions, organizing a “Health Day,” and participating in small-scale community projects

 

Achievements

  • Trained 41 participants over 185 training hours

  • Created professional CVs, email accounts, and LinkedIn profiles for participants

  • Implemented 7 initial community projects with potential for scaling

  • Organized a “Health Day” attended by 60 adolescents and several parents

  • Presented expressive theatrical and artistic performances

  • Launched websites and marketing plans for adolescent’ products

  • Built partnerships to connect graduates with training or volunteering opportunities

 

Program Impact

  • 84% of participants are Man Ahyaha students

  • Noticeable improvement in self-confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

  • Positive feedback from parents on participants’ behavioral and cognitive development

 

Next Steps

The program continues to support graduates through new workshops, advanced skills training, real-world opportunities, and expanding partnerships with training providers and the job market. We have already started working with a new cohort of adolescents, continuing and building upon the same pathway to broaden the impact and reach more youth in targeted communities.
