Man Ahyaha Celebrates the Graduation of the First Cohort of the Youth Program in Al-Ayyat

In a moment filled with pride and hope, Man Ahyaha celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of its Youth Program, one of the flagship initiatives under its Adult Education Academy, with the support of Drosos Foundation. The program targeted youth from the villages of Behbeit, Baharwa in Al-Ayyat district, focusing on empowering them academically, intellectually, and professionally through a comprehensive four-phase learning journey.
About the Program Man Ahyaha believes that education is not just for children—it is a core entry point to community development. Accordingly, the Adult Education Academy works with three main groups: parents, community leaders, and youth aged 14 and above. The Youth Program is a practical manifestation of this vision, blending non-formal education with life skills and personal development. The program is based on the globally recognized Reflect methodology, which teaches adults through interactive techniques that do not rely solely on reading and writing. It uses tools such as drawing, music, stories, and interaction with nature to help learners express themselves, analyze their reality, and take steps toward meaningful change.
Program Objectives Train young people in critical thinking and social change using the Reflect methodology. Create a safe learning environment that encourages expression, evaluation, and open dialogue. Program Phases Over several months, participants engaged in a multi-dimensional journey: Self-awareness and Challenges The journey began with personal reflection—helping youth understand themselves and deal with the challenges of adolescence. Skill Discovery and Career Exploration They were introduced to new fields such as technology, the arts, and entrepreneurship. Project Development Participants turned their ideas into real initiatives through training in planning, implementation, and time management. Practical Application They used tools like programming, design, and digital marketing to transform their ideas into tangible outcomes. Graduation Day The graduation ceremony took place at Arabesque Hall – Al-Ayyat on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 2 to 4 PM, with a wide attendance of parents, academics, program partners, and advocates for community-based education. The event included: A graduation project exhibition showcasing the youth’s innovative ideas and practical work. Recognition moments, with certificates awarded to outstanding participants for their creativity and dedication. Inspiring stories shared by the graduates, reflecting on their transformation from hesitation and doubt to confidence and impact. A Successful Partnership: Drosos Man Ahyaha is proud to partner with Drosos Foundation, the main supporter of this program, whose contribution played a vital role in content development, technical support, and the measurable impact achieved among participating youth.
