” Monitoring and Evaluation\u00a0specialist” <\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0-Accountabilities\/Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>

Monitoring and evaluation of project\u2019s activities:<\/u><\/p>

    1. Support and facilitate the design of M&E frameworks for the project that meets or exceeds donor M&E and reporting requirements.<\/li>
    2. Lead in development of appropriate tools for project monitoring or review existing tools to be in line with the needs of the project.<\/li>
    3. Lead in assessments and evaluation at the end of the project and in the midline. This will include identification of consultants (if required) development \/review of tools and technical review of reports.<\/li>
    4. Undertake regular field monitoring of all ongoing project\u2019s activities in close coordination with the team.<\/li>
    5. Develop, maintain and update as necessary the M&E plans for the project consistent with the approved project M&E frameworks.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

      Project reporting:<\/u><\/p>

        1. Take the lead in collecting, analyzing and reporting on relevant indicators for donor reports as well organizational-wide M&E system<\/li>
        2. Review internal project progress reports such as monthly reports and provide feedback to teams.<\/li>
        3. Contribute to development and reviews of donor reports.<\/li>
        4. Analyze reporting gaps and identify corrective actions needed.<\/li>
        5. Provide support to the team members to ensure quality reporting while also building their capacity to ensure compliance.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

          Project data management and analysis:<\/u><\/p>

            1. Together with the project team, harmonize and standardize existing data collection, analysis and reporting tools and systems.<\/li>
            2. Undertake analysis and reporting of all data collected from the field and identify learning points \/trends for improving quality.<\/li>
            3. Develop a clear mechanism of tracking performance indicators for projects. This will include development of M&E plans for new and\/or ongoing activities.<\/li>
            4. Monitor progress of project indicators, maintain project data and keep up to date record of all data\/information required for measuring project performance indicators.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

              Staff Capacity building:<\/u><\/p>

                1. Undertake M&E knowledge and skills capacity assessment of project staff and provide recommendations for addressing any gaps identified.<\/li>
                2. Design and implement tailored in \u2013house M&E training for the projects team.<\/li>
                3. Coordinate with the educational team to support teachers in assessing their progress with students.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

                      Education:<\/strong><\/p>

                      Minimum University degree in social sciences, information management, Statistics or other closely related disciplines.<\/p>

                      Additional training on M&E.<\/p>

                      Experience:<\/strong><\/p>

                      At least 3 years of relevant work experience in program monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the education field<\/p>

                      MS Office , High-level proficiency in Ms. Excel and quantitative analysis techniques such as SPSS, STATA, etc<\/p>

                      Terms of Employment<\/strong><\/p>

                      This position is most suitable for people who are interested in gaining more experience in\u00a0 community schools. <\/strong>Applicants should consider that they will need to visit the community schools regularly, which are located in Ayyat and Sohag .\u00a0<\/p>

                      Contract Length:<\/em> 1 year renewable contract.<\/p>

                      full-time, <\/em>5 days , 8 hours .<\/p>

                      Salary:<\/em> Salary dependent on skills, experience and education.<\/p>
