Shaimaa Tantawi-Founder and Executive Manager<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Shaimaa holds a BA in Commerce from Ain Shams University Coming from the banking sector, and since her graduation, she has been working passionately to serve marginalized communities. In 2007, Shaimaa and a group of friends decided to establish Man Ahyaha as a non-profit organization, that works to provide opportunities for change and community development. In 2010, Shaymaa decided to quit her full time job and devote herself fully to serve communities, working as a consultant for many international NGOs that work in Egypt. She then decided to dedicate herself full-time to managing Man Ahyaha besides being the treasurer. In 2014, Shaima worked on developing Man Ahyaha\u2019s vision from being an association working in many programs to focus on one field: the field of education.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Shereen Aly-Educational Consultant<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

With a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Shereen worked for over 9 years in multinational corporations before deciding to shift her career to education. In these years she realized the huge gap between the skills needed in real life and what the educational institutions are offering their students. She started working in the education field with a strong belief that the road to real world transformation is a powerful and holistic learning experience. Shereen earned an MA degree in International and Comparative Education from the American University in Cairo and ever since her graduation, Shereen has been passionately involved with several start-ups and NGOs in Egypt as a curriculum designer, researcher, facilitator and instructor. Her passion is to work with educators to help them re-ignite their curiosity and awe towards learning. She also helps them design learning processes that adopt the latest learning techniques and pedagogies worldwide while keeping an eye on the contextual elements. Nermeen Ahmed Al Kammar-Curriculum Design Manager<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Architecture, Nermeen decided that architecture wasn\u2019t for her and that she would rather work in the field of education to help children know their way, what they are capable of, and what they lack and need to learn, and consequently lead more fulfilling lives. She worked as a facilitator, learning and development supervisor, curriculum designer, researcher, and has managed projects for developing and designing different curricula.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Heba Khaled-Educational Research and Development Specialist<\/b><\/span><\/h4>

Obtained her master\u2019s degree in International and Comparative Education from The American University in Cairo in 2019. She has been working in the pedagogy field since 2014 and now works as part of the Training and Evaluation team at Man Ahyaha, designing professional and personal training courses for our teachers as well as facilitating these courses. Heba is also currently active in social theater with extensive focus on PlayBack Theater and Theater of the Oppressed activities. Heba Loves movement, hiking and interacting with people as she believes that involving herself in new experiences will help her better understand herself.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Director of Training and Capacity Building<\/p>

A consultant in individual and organizational performance development and a certified life coach, with over 20 years of experience in training, mentoring, and professional and personal development. Mohamed currently serves as Director of Training and Capacity Building at Man Ahyaha Foundation, where he leads strategies for teacher development and community leadership capacity building to ensure the quality and sustainability of the educational process.<\/p>

Mohamed graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and began his career in the engineering sector before his deep passion for psychology and human development led him to specialize in human behavior and self-development. Throughout his professional journey, he has combined the analytical rigor of engineering with a profound human-centered perspective, supported by specialized studies in project management, mental health, behavior modification, skills development, and human resources management.<\/p>

He has delivered dozens of training programs in leadership, self-development, human relations, and behavioral analysis, and has supported hundreds of individuals through one-on-one coaching sessions that resulted in tangible personal and professional transformation. Badawy Ragab Mohamed – Educational and Academic Capacity Building Trainer<\/span><\/h4>\n

An educational and academic capacity-building trainer and PhD researcher in Philosophy of Education at the Faculty of Graduate Studies of Education, Cairo University, with more than 25 years of experience in the educational and pedagogical field. Badawy is a member of the training team at Man Ahyaha Foundation, where he contributes to designing and delivering training programs aimed at developing teachers and strengthening effective educational practices.<\/p>\n

He holds a Master\u2019s degree in Educational Administration and a Diploma in School Management from Notting Hill College (UK). He is also a certified Master Facilitator in designing and facilitating deep, active learning experiences using the FIRST-ADLX framework, and a certified trainer in critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem-solving from the De Bono Thinking Foundation.<\/p>\n

Badawy is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and has contributed to the establishment and management of several educational academies. Ahmed Abou El-Fath has over 9 years of experience in community development work and more than 15 years in journalism. He holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law from Menoufia University and began his career as a journalist before transitioning in 2014 to civil society work, driven by his belief in the role of media and knowledge in empowering communities.<\/p>

Ahmed has worked on empowering adolescents by teaching them journalistic skills and supporting them in producing community-based publications that reflect local issues and concerns. He currently serves as Director of Operations and Development at Man Ahyaha Foundation, where he focuses on strengthening administrative systems, supporting new initiatives, and enhancing the efficiency of existing programs to achieve sustainable social impact.<\/p>

He brings strong practical experience in operations management, organizational structuring, and performance optimization within civil society organizations, ensuring alignment between vision and strategic objectives.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dr. Soha Hamed Metwaly – General Director of Man Ahyaha Schools<\/span><\/h4>

Dr. Soha Hamed holds a PhD in Education and is a specialist in educational research and development and project management, with over 15 years of experience in managing educational programs and projects. She currently serves as General Director of Man Ahyaha Schools, where she leads the development of the educational system, builds the capacities of teachers and educational leaders, and oversees the design of educational programs and guides.<\/p>

She has extensive expertise in educational strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, assessment tool design, and proposal writing and conceptual framework development. Dr. Soha has held multiple roles as an educational manager and consultant across diverse education sectors, including higher education, technical education, community education, applied technology schools, and STEAM schools.<\/p>

Her professional experience includes working as a mathematics and statistics instructor and a school director in Saudi Arabia, as well as participating in regional and international initiatives, such as establishing safe educational spaces for displaced communities in Syria and membership in the Enlightened Educators Association in Tunisia. She has also provided consultancy services to international organizations, companies, and civil society institutions, and has published several academic papers in peer-reviewed journals in the fields of education and development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Heba works within the Monitoring and Evaluation Department at Man Ahyaha Foundation, where she contributes to assessing the impact of educational and community-based interventions and analyzing results to support continuous program improvement and sustainability.<\/p>

Heba is particularly interested in experiential learning and reflective practice as key tools for identifying strengths and areas for development at both individual and institutional levels. Her responsibilities have included strategic planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting, ensuring alignment between program objectives and measurable outcomes.<\/p>

Academically, Gihad holds a Master\u2019s degree in Public Policy and Project Evaluation, as well as a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law, which has strengthened his analytical, governance, and policy-oriented perspective.
